What restaurant are you always excited to get back to?

Pinwheel Garden. Our friend Steve would cook us epic meals that took 5+ hours of prep in his tiny apt years before he opened this restaurant. We get to go to his restaurant once in a while now and it's always a sooo good.

Which trend from your industry makes you the most excited?

I'm most excited to see more independent design studios making and selling their own products.

What’s the first thing you’d buy if you won the lottery?

A warehouse to fill with a bunch of machines and robots.

Favorite activity to pass time when you're not working?

Exercising and jumping on the trampoline with the kids.

What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?

If you're an independent designer / maker, your rate is $5000/hour. Not for billing clients, but for deciding whether it's worth spending time on something or not.
